He Graduated from the Lebanese Military School taking leading positions in the Interior Security Forces, including leading the ISF Institute and commanding Beirut police. He was Former Mayor of the Municipality of Tripoli (1998-2004) and member of Municipal board of Tripoli (2004-2010). He also was president of the Center for Development Studies and president of Tripoli Touristic Committee
